Much appreciated as always, hope all are well

Your choice sounds ideal, Rachael!!

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

I wore a black pair of trousers with a smart bright patterned summer top with a waist belt! still wanted to look my age (20)! and black small heeled shoes! Again, as mentioned I think I stood out slightly as most were in black trousers and a white blouse.

No one at my interview wore jeans at all, everyone looked very smart!

Your idea sounds great though hun! Its good to stand out a little as it will help the interviewer remember you!

I wore brown tailored trousers a cream turtle neck and light brown bolero style cardi, I tried to look approachable, very minimal make up, I removed the piercing in my lip, an any other unecessary jewellery, they are looking more at your personality than your clothing, but yes I would stay away from jeans x as you can see I didnt get a place but I was told I interviewed well.

I would suggest wear what ever you feel most comfortable in that is sensible for the occasion. I expected every one to be dressed really formal at the interviews i have attended so far, but to my supprise they were dressed very modern in nice boohoo skirts, checked trousers and cashmere cardigans etc...
Good luck hun, im sure if you feel good in what you decide to wear you will perform better at the interview cos theres nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable

I'd agree with everyone else... wear what you feel comfortable in... but no jeans!

I wore smart brown trousers with a smart top... and based my decision on the fact that you only have so long to make an impression, and that the interviewers take alsorts into consideration - including your clothing and body language, along with the more important stuff...

At the end of the day, this is your chance to shine... so use it to it's full advantage!!

Good Luck!!

What you plan to wear sounds fine - as the others have said, whatever you feel comfortable in is best and sounds like jeans are a no no! Good luck x

I'm fatter than you, Miss and wore a suit. I certainly did NOT look like a man, thanks very much.

i am sure you didn't Noo, and i sure you looked really nice, as I said in the post suits and black pants are just not MY sort of thing.

as i am fat and tall I think they make me look way to masculine.
hence the dress for a little femininty. x x

the main thing is that you feel comfy in what ever you wear as you will be nervous enough wothout worring about your clothes
Good Luck. x
