interview clothing?

Hey racheljay when i went to uclan open day she said to me that everyone showed up in black and white suits and no one really stood out so try something that is u, comfortable and smart. I dunno wether that works but i wore a blue long top, denim jacket(a smart one) and black trousers and i managed to get on the reserve. I think they said that cause they interview so many pople and u need to be sort of memorable.

Anything that is neat and tidy and not too jeansish should be fine, just pay attention to your grooming - not too much makeup, clean and tidy hair, clean shoes, and clean, neat fingernails - not the time to show off 2" nail extensions....

i was told to go smart/ casual but wear some thing with a bit of colour. i wore black trousers and flat shoes but then wore a different colur top to help me stand out from the crowd!!

you'd be suprised how many turned up in black trousers and white top (no offence to anyone who did wear this!!).

think about it from the interviewers point of view, they're not going to remember everyones name and if they've to describe you they'll remember you better for being the girl in the purple blouse than one of many in a white blouse!!

i got accepted at all 3 of my interviews and think that may of helped.
