hey i wonder if anyone could tell me how the reserve list works for UCLAN please. I am on it but they said i could also tr through clearing on the letter. I don't know if i get a place before clearing people or not. Also no one would no the likelyhood of getting a place of the reserve list?

Hi there, I was on the reserve list 4 years ago too, I got a phone call late June just offering me a place, basically when someone accepts another offer, or changes their mind, they will be removed from thelist so everyone just moves up a place, like waiting on hold on the phone I suppose. The clearing bit will be when you have no place they will let you go through clearing, in the same scenario if ppl don't get results/change their minds etc... Well done though, they've had loads of applicants again this year xx

Thankyou Tracyb so at clearing if a plac hasn't been offered to me will I have to apply through clearing, the reserve doesn't mean u will get a place above anyone when it comes to clearing ? I only ask cause my when i told my tutor he said that u should ask as the reserve should garantee you a place if one comes available. I don't want to ask the uni as I don't want to seem a pest lol.

I'm not sure how it works, but I phoned up and spoke to Liz Gomez, as she is the one in charge of all the new entrants (as far as I'm aware), she was really helpful and kept me updated, they know how important it is to you, give them a ring they're all really helpful and they may put your mind at ease x
