| Congratulations on your two offers, you must be really pleased. Where would you feel happiest going, do you prefer one uni/area over the other one. What does your partner feel about it, have you discussed it with him? I think you need to look into what is available in both areas, maybe draw up a list of pros and cons for each, and then work out what you want to do from that. Good luck with your decisions, hope they work out well for you.

| Oh boy!!! Well, congratulations first of all on both your offers. Which uni did you like the most? I know Sheffield has a reputation for been one of the best health sciences training schools in the country, but I also know they work their students like dogs to get that reputation. Not that, that is a bad thing Leeds uni only sends it's midwifery students out into community for the first year which can be a good thing too. I think I would also look at the area's you would be moving to and have a look at OFSTED so you can see the reports from schools your child may go to. What a toughie. Good luck, Sarah x

| Congratulations on both your offers... What does your partner do and what are his prospects in both areas? Is he going to find it easier to find work in one rather than the other? I understand that leeds is a very expensive place to live now and the cost of living might be considerably less in sheffield. I have been told that sheffield is a nice place ... lots of recent developments and the city is very up and coming. if it were me, i would be looking at cost of living and partners job prospects. after all, he will be main earner for three years. |

| congratulations on you offers!! why not speak to the university's, even arrange to see them and take it from there. see which one can offer you the most. ask them for current time tables, what % go on to get employment after. i had a similar dilemma between huddersfield and bradford!! think about placements too, how far out do you have to travel to placements, parking/travel. i made a list of pro's and cons for both uni's and took it from there. good luck with the decision making, i had a lot of sleepless nights till i finally made my mind up. it's such a massive decision that will have a huge impact on your life, you need to know you've made the right decision. x

| leeds can be expensive to live but i live ossett/horbury. 20 mins form leeds by car (5 mins to m1, 10 mins to m62), 40 mins on bus (one bus straight through), 10 mins either direction to 2 train stations both going to leeds!! so very central. excellent schools and a very nice area!! there's a few areas similar that are very accessable for leeds so don't let that put you off x
