I was certain Chatham was the Sept 08 start and Canterbury was the Feb 09 start. (Am applying to CCCU too).

CCCu is the other way round...feb start is canterbury and sept start is medway...I don't think they interview a year in advance either???? Had my interview feb 06 and started sept 06.....they interviewed for feb 07 starters at the same time but not for the following year though..... I know that there were a few who got thier places deferred for a year...... It might have all changed since sept 06, not sure?????!!!!!

I would ask pub for reference. Dont really think you would get a good one from somewhere that you've only been for a week! Besides they wouldnt really even know you either so wouldnt be a good one anyway i woudn't think.
Try not to **** them off though as depending on where it is you may well end up doing a midwifery placement there one day!!
