Default Unsure what to do!

I have been accepted at Nottingham uni on the condition tht I get 3 A levels at grade C or above and also AS Biology at grade C or above. This is the only offer I have been given so I do not have an insurance choice. I am extremely worried about not getting on the course as Biology is not my strongest subject and I am certain I won't get a C . I really don't know what to do, whether I should accept the offer and see what happens or apply for another uni through extra. Please HELP!!

Dee, what a predicament to be in.. sorry

For what it's worth, I would work really hard to improve my biology (especially as it is pretty essential for the course, not just ofr you to get in, but on it too) I 'd study hard, draw diagrams and label them, get together with fellow students and swot and give it 100%

Then you'll pass and get in!

(JMHO, of course)

Accept the offer hun, other unis are bound to ask for a C and above anyway. Be positive, you WILL pass and you WILL get in

hiya

i would revise and revise and do your best at the exam, that is all you can do. im sure you will fine but if for any reason you do not get your grades ring the uni up, it has been known for them to still accept you, it depends on the individual uni

good luck

Try an A&P colouring book. I find if I sit, label, colour, redraw and relabel I take a LOT more in biology wise!

Good luck xx

I know this may sound a bit stupid but have you tried a+p for dummies? I've found it very helpful, I read a section in dummies so I can get my head around the basics then move on to my more complicated books for the more technical stuff. Might be worth a shot.

Sorry for your predicament Dee, I would echo the thoughts above and just make yourself learn it all. Almost all Uni's want science at C or above, so it really is essential. I found that drawing diagrams and writing cue cards and sticking them up in the kitchen and bathroom worked well for me. It meant that I could look at them throughout the day, every day, and this helped me pass my sociology and psychology exams.
Good luck,
KS x
