Default Anyone had a interview at city university?

Has anyone had an interview at City University? I have one next week?

Also, What's the maths test like? I hate maths and really scared I'll fail it!

Thanks

Hi,
Welcome to the site, and congratulations with getting an interview!
I can't say about city uni, but the maths tests that I had at the uni's that I applied to were quite simple.
Let us know how you get on.

Hello rchick1 welcome to SM.Net!!
I had an interview at City, it wasn't really a formal interview as such more like a group discussion about a topic (my one was about breast feeding). You start of with the maths and literacy test. The math test is simple really and they let you use a calculator which is a bonus they tell you to show your working so don't forget to do that. Then everyone in the room introduces themselves to one another then your partner introduces you to the rest of the group (the mentors take down notes so that when you have your one-2-one they just ask you to explain or they get to know you more on a personal level). Then you have a group discussion (make sure you have lots to say). Then they introduce themselves and how they got into Midwifery etc.. and then they talk about the course. Its changing for when we start in 2008 its 60% practical and 40% theory. After this they call you up one by one just to check they have the all the documents etc and a brief chat.
Don't stress yourself oh and by the way don't forget to photocopy all your documents (I forgot to do mine lol)
Last but not least GOOD LUCK with your interview and hope to see you in September

Thankyou!
My interview is actually now in 2 weeks time, so I have a bit more time to get sorted!

I'm actually applying for the 18 month course....so I don't know whether my interview will be slightly different to yours. It says that I'll have a numeracy and literacy test...nothing about group discussion!
