I would say its pretty common for unis to not need clearing for Midwifery. A lot of unis have a reserve list that they use to fill places and rarely use up the whole of that list. I think they're telling you that they have no problem filling their places so do not advertise any vacancies through clearing because they don't HAVE any.

Oh, shes wise our Littlenoo, that makes a lot of sense!!
so for her specific uni, they jus have lots on the reserve list to fill the spaces of those who dont get the grades!! i totally didnt figure that out, but it seems so obvious now:P xxx
