Default Can you be too passionate in interview?

I'm now worrying about coming across as too passionate in my interview (if I get one obviously )

Do you think this is possible? I really could talk about all things midwifery all day long, I just constantly surf the net for more info to learn, I'm scared I won't come across as passionate enough but also scared of just freaking them out by how much I want this!

How on earth am I meant to get the right balance??

Natalie

I don't think you can be tbh!

I wore my heart on my sleeve for that interview, and I made it.

I must agree with Smwife, I don't think you can be too passionate. I think being passionate is what helps you get through the course. By being passionate about midwifery you are also showing your dedication :-)

Hi Natalie

Which campus are you applying to? I'll be applying to Hamilton campus for either 2009/2010 later this year

I sent my application at the beginning of April, but had delays from school for reference. Just heard from catch that applications are on hold until August now before re-processing so it's a waiting game now!

What higher have you done?

August would be the earliest I would be applying anyway so that's fine by me. Might be a backlog of applications by then though! Am doing psychology. Exam is on Wednesday!!! eeekkk!!! Planning on doing another 1 or 2 next year too. I have 4 highers already but they are ancient. Are you working just now or are you recently left school if you were waiting on a reference?

Good luck for your exam!

I left school 3 years ago but have only been in my current job 18 months so they said a school ref would be better. (The school then just happened to lose my form, then sent it to catch without the official stamp *sigh*). Although I'm on maternity leave at the moment so would love to know either way before I'm due to go back to work in November so I can do a bit of longer term planning.
