Would you recommend going to an open day even though you already have an offer at that uni? I booked onto the open day at Teesside for 2 weeks on thursday a few months ago, not knowing if I'd have heard by then or not... Do you think I should go anyway even though I've got a place? Would it be beneficial?

yeah i'd go just to get a better idea of the place so its not such a shock when september comes round! plus if ur like me, it'll make u really excited!

I'd definately go... You know that you're going to that uni so may be wise to check it out again and ask any new questions you may have!

Do they not invite you to an induction before you start? when I was offered my place at SHU I was told they would be holding 2 days when you get to go and meet the rest of the cohort and lecturers etc

We have an induction day before we start but I did also go to an open day last week to have a look round the skills lab which was brilliant, had a chat with current students and found it very helpful so I'd recommend going x

A bit late i know, but yes, I would definately go, as you will see the place through different eyes now and in a different perspective than before....if you understand what I mean????
