has people heard that nottingham gets the most applications and is the hardest to get in to, admissions said they had 7000 applications last year for 20-30 places im thinking that i will get more chance in other unis? x

Hi sarah and welcome to the site!
I was thinking of applying to Nottingham, Surrey, Kingston/ or City, Anglia Ruskin and the fifth one im not sure about either- Birmingham city or Machester, it depends on which unis i will find suitable when i go see them at the open day.

I was really interested in going to study at Nottingham, but now I know that there is high demand to go there im feelin a bit doubtful about applying to the uni- oh well I'll never know unless i try.

Definately apply please!!! If everyone thought that about Nottingham then no one would apply!! It may be competitive but so are all other Uni's too!!

I second that! Demand may be high but they have to give the places to someone!

I have to say I find it hard to believe Nottingham had 7000 applications. Do you mean 700? Thats probably more realistic.

go for it, there is no saying one of those places cannot be yours!
