Default Research help needed

Iv got my last interview in 10 days and iv been plowing the internet for latest midwifery news, as im aware this is a question im likely to be asked. Im struggling to find anything which would be relevant to talk about at the interview if asked.... so im hoping you guys will be able to help me and any others that have interviews out over the next few weeks with any information and links to good sites

The maternity matters document is also quite topical.
There is a post on here about a woman who died in childbirth following a homebirth, with the coroner saying that women should be warned about the dangers of childbirth. That could be quite a good thing to talk about

They usually like to ask you what you think a midwife does. If you go onto the uni's website and onto the midwifery page there is usually a bit about what midwives do. They simply want you to have an understanding that you won't just be delivering babies. I would mention the midwife's role in health promotion (encouraging healthy lifestyle etc, helping smoking cessation (quitting) and encouraging and supporting breastfeeding).
