18 month midwifery degree help

BJM - british journal of midwifery
PM - Practising Midwife
As I was still a nursing student at the time, I looked at copies of these in the uni library, I'm not sure if a 'normal' library would have these. Do you have access to a uni library at all? You can of course take out a subscription - which I have now done for the Practising Midwife, as it was really reasonable for students, but not sure how much BJM is, and thought it might be a bit over my head at the moment anyway!

thanks so much i dont have access to a uni library but have access to the hospital library which is sure to stock copies of these thanks for all the help xxx

yup, your uni library will definately have copies of BJM, and probably TPM as well. I would recommend subscribing to TPM as it is really cheap for students as twinklytoes said. However the BJM is REALLY expensive, even the student rate...it's a shame as the articles in there are really good for research.

STMW 2nd year - no, really!

thanks every one am getting really excited now. i have got my record of achievement together today but need another folder to put certificates from courses in and have read a load of articles suh as maternity matters so am feeling more prepared now, been trying to describe to people why i want to be a midwife and its hard to exxplain its in my heart and blood its what i have always wanted to do, i get wxcited when i think about delivering my first baby and feel really sad when i tihnk i might not get on the course stupid i know but cant help how i feel !

id just like to say thanx to everyone for the support. this time in a week i will be so nervous. got my interview a week tomorro. it s a full days interview am kinda looking forward to it tohugh. am gonna go to work library tomorro to see if they got any midwifery stuff. anyway thanks again to you all
