Are you allowed to register to do a course with the open university aswell as college?
I was looking at the SK277 Human biology but I am starting my access course in september so not sure if I can apply to do this.

"Entry to SKYN277 is open only to students doing the pre-registration nursing programme, who are sponsored by their employer and registered as part of a group."

Yeah, maybe they're different things all together. I'm doing adult literacy and numeracy with learn direct and have just done english and maths in my access so not sure whether I should be doing this, may be wasting my time!
I know you cant get credits for the same two things. Oh well lol x x x

I need to do an additional AS level in biology alongside my access to get in to Nottingham as they want 24 level 3 credits in biology my access only gives me 12 so was looking at the biology course alongside my access to make up my points.

Hi, when i did my access course if we needed a cartain amount of points in a particular subject but what we were already doing wasn't enough, the tutors were able to give us extra assignments to make up the points. I would ask if this is possible. You would be able to get all of the credits that you need in the same place then. Good luck xxx

They did that with us as well in psych and sociology, we could have done an extra unit.

Not sure if they are able to do it with biology tho ?? .
