Ok i have finally got round to starting the dreaded UCAS form.....and the first set of questions have thrown me !!!

Student support ??? Anyone know the code for who is paying the fees ????

I thought DH regional health ???

I cant remember from last year !!!

I have just looked at mine from last year and I have put under fee payer DH/Regional Health and under Student support arrangements I left blank. I got 3 out of 3 interviews and one offer so if it was wrong, it couldn't have been a problem. Hope this helps x

Ok thanks for that...next question.....on the section ' employment ' could you put voluntary work ???

I dont actually work atm and havnt done since before baby number three ??

Regarding the fees. Did you alpply for the Diploma last Year? If your chosen uni is now offering Degree only, it'll be a different code. Im not sure which tbh, im having the same problem.

I applied for the degree, I don't think the diploma was offered last year?

I didn't work when I filled the form in, I just put all previous employment down. I hadn't any voluntary work to put in, I would think you could put it in there but I would check with your college, or hopefully someone on here will enlighten us.

Sorry to be a pain and hijack your thread, it just saves ringing the ucas helpline. So it is DH/Regional Health for a means tested bursary then? Last year there were a few Diploma places left for Mar 08 start so I put something different.

Yeah you did Kate, that's what we were told to put (Kate and I were on the same course).

However, we get the non means tested bursary cos we're welsh but I do think it is the same for means tested too.
