Default Random Question

Just some thoughts from other Access students, if you have multiple essays/assignments due what is your style?

Do one at a time?
Start a bit of each?
Pick your favourite/the easiest and do that one?

Or something else

I always did one at a time starting with whichever was due first unless one would help tie in another. Generally I had 2/3 on the go and all due in the same week, in which case I started the one I'd least enjoy first to push me through to get to the one I'd take a little pleasure in doing.

You think that would work for me (pushing through) I am 'stuck' on my psychology project, it's on Attribution which is not actually the most boring subject but I just feel like it's dragging on and on, and I know I have more to do for Sociology...

My way used to be one at a time.

We now get set three essays all to hand in around the same time and one slightly later, as you will find out (!!)

SO they all need to be done roughly at the same time, it's what I do anyway. They all get started, I look for articles at the same time for all four and then plan each one. Obv you have to prioritise, with the first one to be handed in must be done first, but it seems to work well for me. The uni system is to learn the module (most of it) then essays to hand in at the end of module, then the same for each following semester, so they are all bunched together.

I think we have a gap of a week for one, two the next week and one two weeks after that, so not too bad this time!

Have to finish one before I can start another, even it means getting an extension. I cannot do more than one at a time or I confuse my little brain too much - believe you me, it doesn't take much either!
lol

Talking Re: Random Question

Hi

I think about the essays for a long time! Thinking...... that I really must get on and start, but once I have started I usually do one at a time.

I don't enjoy writing essays tho.

Has anyone got any good tips for writing essays? Especially introductions and conclusions.

When i was doing my training i was told to leave my intro till the end then base that on what i have put in my actual assignment, because more often than not what actually goes in the assignment can and usually does end up being different to the intro bit.

Hope this helps.
