Anyone elses access course coming to an end...

Hello roxie, i decribe myself as an excited puppy with a wagging tail , although i ( and you also) suffered aknock back for this year i am looking forward to next time round. It is as you say very exciting !!!

I have 2 weeks left on my access course and then I start Uni in Sept yay!!

i think i have 3 weekes left now and am most excited to finnish and scared to be starting down the road of uni now and becomming all ejumacated!!!

i officially finish on 27th june but have revision week next week followed by exam week then have nothing to do unless i flunk and have to resit any!! i've passed maths, which was such a relief so just waiting on these exam results and i can relax till september 22nd when i'm officially a sm!! x

I finish on June 27th officially although I already have all the credits I need but I'm still doing the last written assignment and 2 tests but will be finished next week eek! I'm going to miss college madly but am so looking forward to uni and there's always this site to occupy me. I plan to get the house straight this summer as it all went to pot when I started college, also I'll be doing loads of overtime at work to try and get us back on an even keel financially.

Four weeks left, two assignments (that have yet to be set!) and three exams, two psychology and one sociology and the oral presentation of the id.

And yes I scared to death, think I would rather take up sky diving than face the next three years, too late now! Only kiddin', really looking forward to it but I am a bitthat this is actualy happening to me!! Yes me!!

My course is nearing the end; I have to hand my portfolio in on Monday!

I was so excited up unitl about 4.40am this morning! I am due to hand by extended assignment in for Biology on Friday and so last night decided to add a few tweaks here and there. I started at 7 o'clock and was surprised when I looked at the clock and was still sitting in front of my laptop at 4.40am. I didn't care though because I felt totally impowered as I had mostly finished.............then.................one of the worst moments of my aspiring educational attempts flashed before my eyes I saved over my file and was left with one page instead of 28!!!!!! Aarghh!!!

It took all my strength to keep away from the cutlery draw and refrain from severly damaging my laptop. I just cried instead......... and cried and cried and cried (I'm sure your getting the picture) My whole Access course and pending Midwifery degree flashed before my eyes.

Anyway to cut a very traumatic story short I located a retrival programme on the internet which enabled me to (luckily locate my file for free) but if I actually wanted to save it from floating endlessley around in cyber space, I needed to pay $49.99 to download the programme. I would quite happily given them $100 and so dutifully paid at about 9.am this morning (still haven not had any sleep!)

Then, after paying, it wouldn't let me access it as they said I needed to be on the internet so could i please do so. (the fact that I was on the internet on THEIR SITE) was obviously to hard for the system to compehend!

After a lot of shouting, screaming and lots of obsenities I managed to locate as to where the company was based (obviously the $ give it away a bit.) They were in Canada ...............and probably all asleep!!!!!!!! Pphhh......

However panic over, the system managed to kick in and I can happily say that I DID get my file back! YIPPEE............


Okay rant over. I am again at peace with the world and can happily say that I am almost, very nearly, quite considerably close and very happy to be at the end of my Access Course!!!!!!!!

P.s Always save save save and resave all your work - in about 75 places if necessary!
