How can women doing what comes naturally i.e feeding there babies by breast be seen as paedophiles? That is beyond comprehension.
I personally can't see what is wrong with breast feeding and if women want to do it then that should be their choice.

Sorry but that article is just a load of claptrap and whoever wrote it needs to get a life and get their facts straight (gotta be a man who has written it.

Well, that really is a load of claptrap, especially the bit about breastfed children having lower IQs, I read on msnbc last month about a long term study that showed breastfed children to be more intelligent that children not breastfed, although they couldn't say if it was the breastfeeding itself or that women who breastfeed tend to be more intelligent and also more interested in their children so stimulate them more.

Mind you, while I am very pro breastfeeding (fed both my sons myself), and please don't hate me for saying this but I do believe that breastfeeding beyond a certain age does border on paedophilia, I couldn't give you an exact cut off age but certainly up to age 8 is sick and wrong, IMO of course.

OMG this person definetly has something very wrong!!!!!!

I too am of the opinion that 8 is too old, but I am sure that most if not all do it because they think it is of benefit to the child not because they are sexually excited by it!

I am a little confused by that site as at the bottom it says its an ad?

I've actually seen this before from a link on my breastfeeding support forum. Pretty sick and twisted thoughts, sad that there are people who think like this.

You can report the article in the 'Ad details' box. I do wonder if the author has to pay for the page since it's an 'ad', hope it's worth the money...
