I think the milgram study is an excellent example of conformity.

There is also a study by Asch about conformity that you can look into.

When i did access, i bought a bog-standard AS-level Psychology textbook, and got loads of info and references from that for all the psychology modules,including conformity. It was easy to read and learnt loads. Hope that helps.
Also agree with others about Milgram and Asch, both well known in this area.
Good luck with ur essay.

sarahholty beat me to it hehe.

I love the site she reccommended, they make it really easy to understand too which is unusual for me hehe I have difficulty understanding long words in sentences!!haha. I'm just doing child psychology at the moment. interesting x x x
