Default Help please with open university assignment.
I am doing the understandung health course with the open university, I have got to writing my first assignment and..... I have been asked to write an essay plan, I know I probably sound really dim asking this but I have never had to write an essay plan before could someone please tell me what it involves and give me some pointers on how to get started?

Do you have a topic you have to plan it around?

Some basic things,

Intro, so define terms, give history, basic background stuff.

middle, the core of the work so evidence, recent theories, research

conclusion, sum up the assignment and what was discuss.

bibliography All the books you have used.

That is very basic. I hope it helps a bit.

That helps thank you, I have never done anything like this before, I took this course to get into the swing of writing assignments again.
It just says I have to draw up an essay plan and describe how I plan to tackle the subject which is about the psychological affects of alcohol.

I have done the OU introduction into health course last year.
Tink has basically summed up an essay plan. Did you not receive a template of an essay plan....? My tutor was really helpful xx
