Hi there. I'm doing Human Biology this year too, but at Scottish Higher level, which I think is similar to a/s. My course started on Tuesday, very exciting.

Good luck!

Do you already meet the educational entry requirements for your chosen uni? If so, then I would wait and do MCA work, if not then you'll need to do access!!

Just my opinon!

Hi, i've got GCSE'S but not recently. Haven't got the recent study in the last five years! Thought i needed experience as well though? Help, don't know what to do. Its not every day you get offered a job on maternity! x

Hi,
Experience is good but its not compulsory, Recent study (in the last 5 yrs) is what the uni may ask for aswell as Certificates in maths/english and/or sciences. I did access, i did not secure w/e in a midwifery unit because of it was not possible to pay to crb check myself so i went to local birthing centre and interviewed the midwives for a morning and had a look round whilst they explained the role etc, this went down really well in my interviews.
