Last night I had a nightmare where I received a letter from my chosen University (UCS) and the letter said that I hadn't been chosen for an interview. This morning I decided I had to give it one last push to try and secure myself a place. I called the Admissions office and explained my worries i.e....

I've been very busy with placement and this week with uni. Have SO much uni work to do before Christmas that I dont know where to start so I procrastinate... LOL!
On a personal level, all good - its half term and I'm getting to spend some time with the children which is FAB!! Had my 20+wk scan...

I did my first day! I survived! I witnessed a birth, examined a placenta, took blood pressure, observed urinanalysis, vaginal and abdominal examinations. I had such a great day! The women were just amazing and so were the dads! I'm so tired! I've been up nearly 20 hours now (the shift was only 12 1/2)...

Well thought I would start to post a blog so here goes...
Im curently waiting to start my DLC course, will be starting that in the next couple of weeks. Really looking forward to that.
I've got my forms filled in and ready to post back to the hospital for volunteering. Im gonna be starting...
