feeling better now!!

Thanks guys for all your positive comments
i'm feeling much better now, i've had a few days off and an awesome birthday party last night which cheered me up considerably

I'm a bit worried about going in tomorrow (my last shift on delivery before moving to postnatal- phew, that's gone quick!) in case my mentor says something about the shift the other night, i really hope she doesn't, coz i wanted to let her know how great i think she's been and how much she's improved my confidence

I didn't realise how full of highs and lows this job is; think i need to learn how to 'switch off' a bit more- a bad shift or experience or something someone has said can stick with me for ages and i let it effect me.

I love it really

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit more upbeat Kelly - I know what you mean, I find it hard to switch off sometimes and keep going over stuff in my head. Hope your last shift on delivery went well - good luck with your stint on postnatal
