Excuse My Melodrama

Got some (more) bad news on Monday:

Mark was made redundant literally 6 of them were taken into the MD's room and told... It's so rubbish and just hassle I so don't need. The credit crunch really is here (Mark works in Finances) and the workplace is a jungle... Excuse the melodrama, but I have some interesting 'facts'...Since I started my Access Course in September the following has happened:

Mark was unemployed for 3 months (due to first redundancy) and I nearly had a nervous break down living with him day in day out!
My Kitty was diagnosed with Diabetes, and I turned into a home kitty nurse
My Bunny developed an abscess and nearly died (draining my savings account in the process)
I cancelled our second wedding
UCAS applications were sent in and I began the obsession over getting an interview for my Degree
Mark finally got a job and we split up
Kitty was diagnosed with a tumour on her Pancreas and the prognosis was not good
I got an interview for my degree - and proceeded to panic!
I had my interview and proceeded to obsess even more
I was accepted to Uni
Mark moved out
My brother was assaulted very badly
My best friend had a baby
Mark Moved back in
Mark was made redundant

And to add insult to injury I have gained 10 pounds

So it's no wonder I am always stressed, eat 10 bars of chocolate a day and basically do not give my Access course my full attention!

Yea I am *that* girl the one who always has something going on!!!! But I do try and keep battling on... I once heard someone say 'God only gives you what he thinks you can handle' - He must think I am really strong

Aw, Faloola! Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. I agree with the thought that you are only given as much as you can handle. You must be a very strong person. I hope things sort themselves out for you and your boyfriend and that he finds a new job soon.

oh faloola, i feel for you! my hubby's self employed and work has been very thin. we're nearly at the bottom of the savings pot. i don't work and feel awful cause of it. jst remember things happen for a reason and what doesn't kill us makes us a stronger and often a better person. and i totally get where you're coming from the having them at home front! much as you love them, absence makes the heart grow fonder, being with them constantly makes you want to kill them!! lol. heres a hug to cheer you upx

I really do feel for you!But just think, if you can get through this things are bound to improve and the degree should be a doddle when things do start to get better! Keep smiling and if chocolate helps dont' beat yourself up, one thing at a time chicks!
