1st Day

Well that is it my first day as a student midwife is over!

It was exhausting and exciting all at the same time - mostly talks and introductions which was to be expected. I met my cohort and they all seem so nice - and some faculty members so it is all so real now..

I forgot about the health screening - Doh! I am literally like a pin cushion (well slight exaggeration but still) I had a blood test for any blood diseases and to check my immunity for TB, Rubella etc etc and my Hep B jab - that was a nasty little surprise let me tell you... I don't usually mind but this stung

I am so tired and happy - I actually jumped out of bed today - I don't think I have felt like that for - well a long time - hopefully I will be the same tomorrow - night night

1. 	Sounds great roll on tomorrow! I felt like a pin cushion on monday, 2 injections and my bloods had to be taken twice as she couldn't get it first time! ahh well! Hope tomorrow goes well!
