my poor little football mad 10 year old had his leg broken on sunday as the result of a bad tackle!! it was a pre season friendly and the first 11 a side game he has played. he has broke his right tibia but luckily it didn't move so no operation but he still has 6wks in pot, 6wks physio and no football for the rest of the season!! i feel so sorry for him. the hospital sent us home with just paracetamol and ibuprofen which isn't doing a thing for the pain so he is now on 400mg ibuprofen 3x a day and 2x co codamol 8/500 4x a day!!! needless to say he is now either asleep or throwing up but not as much pain. i'm so gutted for the little fella, he lives for his football and it'll kill him not being able to play for so long!!
