My goal is in sight....

Well... Since my last blog entry I have attended another interview... See interview testimonials... and gained my midwifery place for September 2008!!! The shock has only pretty much worn off now and its starting to feel more real! I returned from my York interview to find an offer from Teesside sitting on track waiting for my... OH MY GOD!!! Then was the choice whether to just accept it and withdraw from York... or let it run and see how I had got on with my interview.... A week later I withdrew from York and accepted Teesside!!! I'm gonna be a student midwife!!!!!
With the work situation... I've withdrawn from my NVQ, though I'm continuing with my KeySkills and Technical certificate. There is no way I'd finish my NVQ before leaving for uni and to be honest, I could do without the added stress of that right now.
Is it just me, or does life get very boring when you're waiting for something thats so exciting??? 5 and half months away feels like an absolute AGE away... Soooo many work days in between now and then... Work seems so crap now I know I'm getting out and to be honest.. I did actually enjoy working there! I see my goal in front of me... taunting me... I'm so frigging impatient that I want it NOW!! NOW I TELLS YEE!
I've started buying things for uni... books... Kipling bag/laptop case... I'm so naughty!!!!
The wedding countdown begins... 2 months tomorrow and I'll be Mrs Tindall... now THAT is a scary thought!!!!!!!!!!!!
