Again tomorrow i am helping in maternity. I love it but the clinic i am helping at i have been there only once, for about 2 hrs and to be honest i was in such awe to be there nothing really sank in
I have written stuff in my little book but keep looking back over it and oh my god i don't even understand my writting. It is just going to be and the midwife and i don't want to let them down so much that i slow down the antenatal clinic and they then wont phone me to help out again

Hey..
I spent over a year working in clinics as HCA and I can say from first hand experience that women can be extremely patient and understanding. I wouldn't get too worked up thinking that you will slow things down as I'm sure that once you are in full swing will be able to keep up. If you don't its not the end of the world.. you can't know everything when you have only worked there once.

Awww you will be fine - my notepad comes everywhere with me now - it's a godsend!! Just ask questions if you don't understand - everyone has to start somewhere so I'm sure they'll be understanding as they'll be able to see how keen you are - good luck!!
