Neonatal Placement

I have four days left of this placement, and I have really enjoyed it.

I have been able to feed and care for such tiny babies...some weighing as little as 850 grams. It has been a challenge putting a nappy on such a tiny baby who have wires getting in the way, and tiny legs that keep...

My Dad


My Dad was a lovely gentle man, and his family were his life.
Everytime I went round to see my Mum & Dad one of the first things he used to always say was 'do you want a cup of tea?'


He never went anywhere unless it was a really hot day without

Start of second year...

I started back at uni today, and it was very strange going back knowing I was no longer a first year. Can't hide behind that anymore now, we are expected to know stuff now.

My cohort had now been replaced by a new one, a whole new group of student midwives who, I am sure had just the same...
