So little time to do so much!

I am having so much trouble making revision notes for a sociology exam. I normally wouldn't bother but we have an extra unit on revision skills worth 3 credits and all we have to do is make revision notes for an exam we are sitting anyway and as long as we pass the exam, we get an extra 3 credits. Seemed like a good idea at the time but after another evening of reading up on the subject but failing to make notes I'm at the end of my tether!
So as my head is fried now I thought I'd make a little timetable for the time I have left in which to do all college work left. I can count out the next 3 nights because I am in work until 9, 10 and 8 pm respectively. I could plan to do something but I know that I just won't be able to as by the time I get home and eat I'll be far too tired for working.
Now I'm really stressed. I'm also working Sunday 10-5 so I thought it go as follows:
Sunday night: finish sociology revision notes. (Exam Monday).
Monday night: Start homeostasis essay
Tuesday night: Finish homeostasis essay and do reflective piece, both due in Weds.
Then I realised I also have to make a birthday cake for my son's 5th birthday and he wants a cake version of a spiderman bubble bath bottle (if you can call it that) he has which is a building that has a sloped front surface and goes in at the top and has spiderman hanging from the top with one hand while crouching on the wall and his other hand is up ready to shoot web from his wrists. When am I going to find the time to do that?? Arrghhh!!! The cake it self will be easy enough but will take a whole night to ice, by the time I make buttercream to sandwich pieces together, cover the whole cake in buttercream to attempt to make a smooth surface to cover, mix the colouring paste into the ready made icing and try to cover the whole thing without too many joins (like wrapping an odd shaped parcel in stretchy but easily torn paper). I imagine it will take another whole night to attempt to model a crouching spiderman with icing, bearing in mind it has to be part blue and part red but look like one piece. Why did I offer to make him any cake he wanted, why do I think I have the skills to do such a thing? and when am I going to find the time?? I must love stress and pressure so much to leave everything to last minute. Oh yes and I also have to keep up with the washing of clothes, housework, washing dishes (I swear dirty dishes breed because no matter how many I wash there is always a sinkful and a counter full in my kitchen) and try to spend quality time with my two sons and my husband. I think I can rule out any smnet time next week which makes me sad
cos I love it so.

| | haha, yes I am a stubborn witch (or at least something that rhymes)! Don't envy you your friday hours, I used to hate doing those kinds of shifts when I worked in Margam park, that was 10 years ago and I still remember how tired they made me. |
