OMG Im in!!!!

Yesterday had to be the strangest day in the way of feelings. Coming onto sm.net in the morning I found that someone had received an unsuccessful on Ucas for Brighton. I had waited so long for the results from Brighton to start being sent out and now they were.

The rest of the morning was spent dreading an email re UCAS as I was sure mine was also a no. In the afternoon i tried desperately not to go on the pc. I managed a whole 4 hours! Was very proud of myself but then when I did check, I found the dreaded email! It had arrived within 10 minutes of me turning the pc off four hours earlier! Sod's law!

My heart almost exploded out of my chest and my OH was concerned that I was going to have an asthma attack! It took me 10 minutes to log on to ucas as I was shaking so much and kept chickening out!

CONDITIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it. I burst into tears with my OH looking on all sympathetically, sure it was a no. This was the moment that I had been waiting for and now I had no idea what to do. Even better was the phonecall I got 2 mins later from Clare (clareyfairy) screaming she had got in too! Clare had been such a support to me during the interview process even though the only time I had actually met her was at interview. I am so looking forward to getting to know her better.
