Yay for getting on the access course and other stories LOL

Well, not had much time to myself lately so thought I'd update my blog here!
Most importantly the postman brought the best news today confirming that I was being accepted onto the access course from Sept. I'll be doing it part time, 1 day a week for the next 2 years but it means I'm finally on my way!!!
Hubby has also been cramming for exams - his job as a financial consultant means he has to constantly update his knowledge so he successfully passed an important exam on Monday so that's good too.
Another piece of luck this week, about a year ago I lost one of my diamond stud earrings...one of the first presents OH bought me way before we got married...I was so upset when I lost it, assumed I must have lost it in the house as the other earring was still in the box...turned the bedroom upside down at the time but had to assume it was lost as they're really tiny. Anyway, I was looking for a small piece off one of my eldest's toys as I didn't want the youngest to pick up and try to eat it..looked under the bed and right there by the edge of the bed glinting was my lost earring!!!!!! I was so pleased, it's been lost for a year and then it just turns up despite the fact we turned the bedroom upside down at the time!!! I like to think that someone wanted me to find it again and popped it there for me to find
Still enjoying my job even though I never seem to get any time to myself...I'm either looking after the boys or working!! We've got 2 weeks off end Aug/beg Sept so can't wait!!
Lots planned over the next few weeks, have my Mum's 60th and our wedding anniversary to look forward to so it's all good!!
