Hey Everyone!!

I was wondering, from this little chair in my room, if when studying Midwifery if you have to buy yourself your own equipment, and if so, what sort?

I know when I was shadowing a community Midwife on my experience she mentioned that she had a little suitcase which she still now uses when she used to carry around all her equipment when she was a student, I was wondering if this still carried on??

We do buy some of our own equipment but we mainly use our mentors/hospitals.

Id suggest all you need is a tournique, lots of black pens without lids, a lanyard for your ID and to attach your fob watch to and a baby thermometer.

Ive been drafting a list for a while on and off of what I think ppl would need, as Ive been asked about it alot. Will see what I can sort and what I can get us as freebies to keep the cost of the starter pack down.....
