| Re: Uniforms I havent got one photo of me in my uniform, how bad is that!?!! We have light blue tunics and dodgy blue trousers (tapered leg and elasticated waist - not a good look on a fat gal like me!). Most people wear their own clothes on the ward and in the community but always scrubs on delivery! Most people substitute the trousers for dark blue or black ones of their own. Also many wear dark trainers, one sister once made a very good point that theatre clogs are all well and good but when you have to jump up and run accross the car park trainers dont slip off and there is no heel strap to fall down .....

| Re: Uniforms I had the same as Josie as a student - navy trousers, light blue tunic with purple bits on. As a midwife I have the same lovely trousers, with tunic in a 'lovely' shade of pinky lilac - think windowlene and you'll be there - really good with eyebags! edited to say - Brighton Uni, a hospital in East Sussex

| Re: Uniforms ppfff where are the pictures? im sure you could have one taken from the neck down if you don't want to be identified.. I've been informed that Teesside is white tunic with royal blue trousers that no one wheres and replaces with navy or black ones of their own.

| Re: Uniforms Sorry, no photo. We have grey trousers and a white and lilac vertical pinstripe tunic. We have to wear our uniform on all placements and only allowed scrubs for theatre. Many of the girls have found grey trousers of their own to wear with the tunic in a more comfortable material. We wear black shoes. I recently purchased my own clogs for theatre as I hate scrabbling around trying to find a pair when you have to go to theatre. |
