Seems to be the norm at all of our trusts. 3 to 5 witnesses, then hands on...

Wonderful, but don't be too disheartened if it doesn't happen quickly. I witnessed 12 assisted deliveries on top of my five witnesses before I got hands on. It was worth it in the end though.

Hey you'll get there, and the Shoulder Dystocia must have been a little scary for you, was it a true Shoulder Dystocia then? Next shift I'm sure xx

Yes it was a true Shoulder Dystocia, it was scary, and it was made worse I think as I didn't have a clue at first what was happening or what to do.
