Hello to all, I just wondered if any of you have seen/heard of this film?

The Trust which I am based at is putting it on for us free of charge, which is brilliant, but I wondered if anyone knows what it is all about.

Don't know anything really, had heard about it. Don't know where though!

Ricki lake has something to do with it doesn't she? Is it based on the medicalised birth in America?

The Independent Midwives Association is delighted to announce the London Premiere of the documentary film ‘THE BUSINESS OF BEING BORN’.
Released in the USA in January 2008, it has great relevance to anyone with an interest in childbirth.
"A must-see movie for anyone even thinking about having a baby!"
"Midwives are preparing for a rush of interest in births outside hospital once this film hits UK screens" - Susie Mesure in The Independent
The screening will take place in South Kensington, London on Monday 14th April 2008 at 7.00pm.
