Found this article interesting...

"It was a real treat to read what the Wall Street Journal (on-line version on October 26) had to say about electronic fetal monitoring. Dr. Barry Schifrin, forty years ago, as a young doctor, worked with a team at Yale that was doing early work with fetal monitors. He, and I’m sure others, worried right from the start that data would be misinterpreted...."

that's exactly how it feels, tracy! Humans are not capable of doing the most natural things alone anymore, we have to have help! Wonder what they're going to come up with to help us with the other normal bodily functions....
