An update for healthcare professionals

A study day for midwives and other practitioners specialising in newborn examinations is being held by Bournemouth University's School of Health & Social Care. The event will focus on a number of topics including developmental dysplasia of the hips, the revision of the cardiovascular assessment in the newborn and newborn conditions that may require surgery. Confirmed speakers include Melanie Drewett, Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neonatal Surgery from Southampton NHS Trust, and Pip Clark, Lecturer Practitioner from Bournemouth University/Bournemouth Hospital.
