| We are very privileged to have permission from Mama Sundrop to have her pregnancy and birth photo journal as an educational resource for us all to learn from. You will see she has documented her bump from week 16 to week 39 when she went into labour. She gave birth to their first child, a beautiful healthy baby girl, at home in the USA on 8th March 2008 at 9.03pm, her husband and midwife were in attendance. She had a spontaneous vaginal delivery and the umbilical cord was burnt and not cut. She will come and tell us all about her birth experience when she has settled into being a new Mommy! http://www.studentmidwife.net/members/mama-sundrop/albums/23/ Please do not reproduce these photos without Mama Sundrop's permission.

| Fantastic pictures! Thanks Mama Sundrop and TallPoppy for making it possible for us to see them. I somehow feel that by looking at them I have, in some strange way, gone on that journey with her. (Or am I just being soppy??!) Overcome with emotion, it's wonderful. There's something to be said for this midwifery lark hey?? Can't wait to start my training (Fingers crossed!) Thanks again both!! xx
