My cousin - Monique Jade Harris is missing - again. She has been missing since Monday 6th of February in Birmingham.

Since the last time she went missing her mum puts her on a mini bus that collects her in the morning for school, and a teacher would meet her off it and make sure she got to school. Afterwards her teacher would put her back on the bus and her mum would meet her. On that Monday she decided not to get on the bus and she just ran, the teacher was not able to catch her.

She was last seen on Tuesday 7th in Star City and again in Nechells. Since then she has not been sighted and all police leads have gone cold. Her picture is due to appear in local papers but we do not know when.

If anyone has seen her please contact South Birmingham police on 08451135000

I feel guilty about posting this again but I cannot get to Birmingham and look for her. Again if you wish to share her info on Facebook, I have opened my profile so you can can and remain anonymous. If you want to add me you can.

    Thanks in advance

Oh no! I hope she is found quickly again, and safely. Was any counselling or anything put in place for her last time to try and get to the bottom of it? There must be something bothering her for her to keep doing this.

Lots of luck finding her xx

    Thank you guys.

Potbella I don't think there was. Last time she said to the police that her mum was beating her up. They sent her to the hospital to examine her and there wasn't a mark on her body. So she was busted there. The police then sent her home.

I should probably mention she has not had the best upbringings at all she was brought up by her mum for the first few years of her life but as always regularly seeing her dad and his family. Her mum then had a series of relationships and has moved a number of times. I couldn't tell you how many schools she has gone too. Monique was also abused by an uncle on her dads side of the family.

I think there is a lot of underlying causes of her going missing. But I am worried that when she is found she is not going to get the support emotionally/mentally that she should from counselors. As she lied about her mum abusing her I wonder what else she can lie about and what actually happens at home xxx

Oh poor thing, she sounds like she really needs to talk to someone. It sounds like this is a cry for help whether she is telling the truth or lying... I know someone who lied about being bullied when really she was being abused just cos she needed to explain away her problems and give a reason for the things she was and wasn't doing. It's a fear thing, plus to be able to tell someone the truth they have to accept the truth first.

I really hope everything turns out well and she is found safe, I really hope she gets the help.and support she needs too. Good luck xxx
