2013 Applicants.... What open days are everyone going to?

Now UCAS has closed and we were applying next, i just wondered what open days everyone was going to?

Hiya!
i'm going to ARU Chelmsford on Feb 11th. Taking hubby n kids with me. Can't wait!! i think it will help make it feel "real" for family and me. I'm only applying here so jus the one open day for me.
Hope to meet up with other SMneters and their families.

Purplemist, just make sure in advance that the open day is suitable for kids. I went to one at Notts last year and it was very much unsuitable x

Ps, I'll be going to Notts again when they publish the dates

Thanks RiverSong! The invitation actually recommends bringing your family! Not sure whether my 2yr old will be coming tho, will be a long day. my hubby will prob take my 6 yr old over to shops if she gets bored, but i think she'll love it. Im soooo excited!

I will be attending Chester and Bangor Uni's open days!!!

Defo not taking the kids , hubby wants to come though..... He loves anything to do with midwifery What about you Classof2013?

Thinking about going to keele on Sunday and definitely going to Wolverhampton on the 28th. Going to de Montfort too in march definitely not taking kids and partner lol. Will be a nice break lol.

Uni open days- 2013 applicants

Hi all,

I just wondered for those of us who are aiming at a place for the 2013 intake, which open days you are booked on to?

I have booked onto the SHU open day June 16th and I can't wait!!!!
I already go to the uni but I can't wait for the Midwifery specific talks!

Notts 24th March - I've booked on it to go by myself but might take OH with me. Mainly to get him interested - it's like talking to a brick wall!

Not sure if I'll look weird bringing him though?

oh Im def not taking the kids It will be nice to go somewhere grown up without them!!! Im taking hubby. I think when it says bring family it is more aimed at young students who plan to move away from home if Im honest, I wouldnt be too impressed if there were kids there been noisy etc!!!
