    :( i thought that was horrible. definately a doctor and not a midwife there! I just wanted to yell at him to get his hands off her & give her, her baby! The cord does not need to be cut straight away! Those few minutes would have felt like forever for that poor women while the dr took care of 'bussines'.

    Yes, I found it all a little more squeamish than I had imagined, as nothing usually phases me.
    I have the same thought as you though, watch them and hopefully they will prepare me.

    I do wonder if it is normal to somtimes feel taken aback at first.

    what a shame baby wasn't delivered straight on to mothers abdomen she looked desperate to hold her baby not sure what the need for the epis was though to much intervention nature has a great way of doing it all by its self (well the majority of the time !
