I just read this whilst breastfeeding my little girl and it brought tears to my eyes, if I had read this in the first few days of BF it would have definitley helped me feel better, a little less frustrated and maybe a bit more confident that I was doing things right..very touching and sweet :)

It's a great letter and almost all the comments were really lovely to read. I always get a bit cross and surprised when people say that you shouldn't be breastfeeding once your child can walk - what rubbish! The WHO recommends 2+ years, and what three year old is going to be psychologically damaged by breast feeding? Maybe by his mum suddenly saying "No, we have to stop now, even though you still want to and it's still good for you". Grr.
