    The comments made me cringe.. 'I'm never having a baby if that's what happens'.... well have a baby vaginally then!!
    I want to show this video to all my friends who are convinced they will have a c-section to save their 'bits'!!

    It's the smell of laser diathermy that was the first thing that hit me during my time observing in theatre. Watching that video-i could almost smell it!

    I don't really understand the physiological process that prevents PPH during manual separation of the placenta. I understand the ligation process of the vessels involved in normal placental separation but i dont understand how that process would work if the womb can't contract properly.
    Another thing, how can the uterus be cut open surgically without a major bleed whilst at the same time a uterine rupture can cause life threatening side effects.
