Hey Scorpiogirl23, I have applied at Kensington and Chelsea College, too, have my assessment on the 6th of July. I think probably the only way to find out, which college is better is to ask the unis...? And ask the colleges which unis they work with of course, meaning if and where they "guarantee" you interviews...?

Strange, I asked the admissions team, if the assessment/test and the interview were on the same day, they said yes...

How long did it take, because I have an assessment (and maybe also the interview) at 12.00 at Kingsway and then at 15:30 an interview at Lambeth college (where I already passed the assessment two weeks ago) Both colleges were not able to offer me an alternative appointment, I tried...

I just hope I'm gonna make it on time to the second one, find this really stressful :-(

I'm usually the kind of person who's rather an hour early to be on the safe side... :)

    hi,

I am wishing on taking an access to nursing course this year. I have read all your posts and frankly i am even more stressed than before. I left school almost 8 years ago and the maths test is literally freaking me out. I am wishing on getting into westminster kingsway i have got my assessment date next week the 08th. On the 02th and the 06th i have got assessment at morley college and chealsea and kensington. I already went to lambeth college and ealing college just to see what to expect in the maths test. I have been told that WK gives an online assessment. Do you know if it is an multiple choice or a set of problems to resolve?
    Good luck everyone

Hi beebee. Well, maybe your's will be on the same day, which would be good. I hate this process of waiting and more waiting. i was there about 2:30 hours but if you'll also be interviewed maybe it'll take some more time.

hi jubbi, the maths test is multiple choice and is not that hard but you'll need some practice of area and volumes and percentage .You can practice online http://www.move-on.org.uk/practicetestsResults.asp
they have some practice tests similar to the one you'll have to do.you need to get a level 2.
    good luck

    thanks a lot butterfly,

i had an assessment today at morley college it was an online literacy and numeracy and it went much better than expected. i got level 3 for literacy and level 2 for maths. it was then followed by a written test an essay not difficult. interview the 26th july. I am almost assured to have a place there but really this is only my back up plan. Westminster is the one to get into lol.
