Yes, I have read through them. Is there one which has prompted this thread, do you have a discussion topic?

Language is so important... You can inadvertently sway a woman into making decisions by how you word things so its important to have a structure. The way you make people feel can be impacted so much too by your choice of words, things can take on a whole different meaning. Consent is one of the things I am exploring and I have come across loads of ways even that can be phrased and the different connotations it can have, a few examples...

    Informed choice
    Informed consent
    Informed refusal
    Informed compliance

They all essentially mean the same thing but the way you phrase it changes whether it is positive or negative and whether it is truely informed etc

That is such a good point, and I feel like in a lot of cases it is so easy to fall into a habit of seeking informed compliance when really what you are wanting is genuine consent or refusal. I hadn't considered that.

Just going out now but I'll come back to this - I found the breech birth article fascinating and I'd love to hear from people if they've got actual experience of vaginal breech birth. Think it'll be something I get interested in.
