    Hi
A little advice if you please.

I have breastfed four babies, 2 for 10 months and 2 for 16 months. So had quite alot of breastfeeding experience.

However, I am currently breastfeeding my newborn, now 10 weeks and he keeps having green poo!

Now he is putting on weight amazingly well! He is a little beefcake! So not too worried, he does feed all the time in the day, and sleeps a good 8 hours at night!

I'm not sure if i'm making too much fore milk? Is there any advice or anything i can do?

    Thanks in advance x

Hello you need to contact your health visitor, we cannot give medical advice or make a diagnosis, it would all be guesswork and conjecture. If I were you I'd take your LO to your to baby clinic next week if you are not overly concerned. There are a huge number of reasons for the green poo so you need advice from a healthcare professional with access to your baby's full history and who can ask the right questions to find out the cause for you.

If you are on some medications, like antibiotics that can make baby's poo green, but as Iris says the best idea is to contact someone who has your, and baby's full history

As a mother, yes I have been through it and it has been different causes which is why I don't want to start saying, it could be this or it could be that and start giving you advice that would be innapropriate for your circs and possibly introduce more problems. But rest assured it is quite common and usually very easily fixable x
