Beware though, because what they will ask for is an estimate of what you will earn during 2012/2013 and if you don't know the precise figure then you might have to pay some back if they give you more than you're actually entitled to. This is what I've done this year and we're still waiting to find out if I have to pay any back.

Good to know that they ask for an estimate for 2012/13 and I can be pretty precise as I know exactly what my OH earns and what I will earn up to the end of August and after that I would get £0!!! (if I'm lucky enough to get an offer!)
