My eight year old daughter and I cuddle up on the sofa to watch this each week. What a wonderful programme! Even my 10 year old son loves it (although he won't admit it, but he always ends up in the lounge riveted lol)! I've been in tears on each occasion so touching and my daughter absolutely loves it. Vital viewing for a Sunday evening and we eagerly await 8pm. A friend of mine has just given me the book to read which I am absolutely loving! Roll on next Sunday! x

I had severe pre eclampsia with my twin pregnancy, I didn't show all the symptoms. I had high blood pressure that went down whilst I was being checked at the hospital and loads of swelling, no bloods were taken and I was sent home.
It wasn't til I had constant pain at the top of my bump (5 days later)and felt very ill bloods were done which detected it. It had gone too far and I had an eclamptic fit luckily after delivery and nearly died.
If I get onto the midwifery course I know that this is something I will be very cautious about even if not all the symptoms are shown,it may be the blood test that stops anyone else going through what I did......

That's awful twinmummy. Hopefully this episode exposed the severity of eclampsia to a wider audience
