Have a question for those in the know....

So i will be re-applying next year now BUT what i wondered is: Do the unis keep a record of our PS on file. Seems unlikely they would for the unsuccessfuls before interview but those that have been offered interviews and have not continued or perhaps couldnt take the place I wondered if they do to compare maybe or just for their files????

    Xx

Your PS will be run through plagiarism software that will flag up that it has been seen before but it will also recognise that it was you that used it so you won't be penalised for re using it. However it is not generally thought a good idea to just straightforwardly recycle a PS as you will have new experiences to show how you have improved as a candidate. A PS that got interviews last year may not hit the necessary standard a year later as the marking criteria get tougher and tougher. Of course it is all still you but it should be a new improved and embellished you so perhaps use the same basic PS but rework it :)

    I thought as much :)
I would never put in exactly the same one but it was just a conversation I had yesterday with someone!
    Thanks for your feedback x
